The deluxe CD/DVD version will be available with bonus packaging art plus an exclusive documentary ...

The Felice Brothers

by: The Felice Brothers

Editorial Product Review: :The Felice Brothers' self-titled American debut is a collection of songs originally recorded to sell to make ends meet on the streets of New York. The band made these 'field recordings' wherever they could: an abandoned cafeteria, a broken down school bus, a chicken coop, a derailed train, and under a bridge. In these tales of murder, pathos, lust, and love, you'll find an honest new brand of American storytelling and song. 'Scruffy and scratched Americana that recalls Townes Van Zandt, Guy ...

by: Rascal Flatts

Editorial Product Review: :Somewhat remarkably, the youthful trio Rascal Flatts has an uncanny ability to sound 20-something going on 13. They are often dismissed as just another slick, contrived 'boy band,' though that hasn't kept them from chart-topping success. Admittedly, these Rascals do sound slick and even generic on run-of-the-mill teem anthems like 'Fast Cars and Freedom' and 'The Day Before You.' Yet, on a few shining tracks like 'Bless the Broken Road,' 'When the Sand Runs Out,' and a lovely hidden cut called 'Skin,' the ...

Meet Me In Margaritaville: The Ultimate Collection

by: Jimmy Buffett

Editorial Product Review: :Jimmy Buffett may have made his millions, but that doesn't mean that he has eased up on his workload. After releasing 33 albums, mounting grueling annual tours, and fashioning an entire industry and lifestyle out of his signature song 'Margaritaville,' Buffett trots out this two-CD collection. Yet, Meet Me in Magaritaville, which spans 30 years, isn't merely a retread of his long, storied career. Buffett has written two new songs for the package and re-recorded six alternative versions of fan favorites (including a ...

Hymns of the 49th Parallel

by: k.d. lang

Editorial Product Review:Album Description:Hymns of the 49th Parallel fulfills k.d. lang’s longstanding desire to create a Canadian songbook. On the album, her first for Nonesuch Records, she pays homage to fellow Canadian artists including Joni Mitchell, Leonard Cohen, Neil Young, Jane Siberry, Ron Sexsmith, and Bruce Cockburn. :Was it homesickness that compelled longtime Los Angeles resident k.d. lang to fashion her one-woman campaign for north-of-the-border nationalism, or just plain good sense? All Canadian content has long been a mainstay of the Canadian Broadcasting System, but ...

One of the most distinctive voices in all of popular music, Havens delivers his first new studio recording in over 4 years - with his unique rhythmic approach to the acoustic guitar, Richie takes material by Pete Townshend (the anthemic and timely 'Won't Get Fooled Again'), Peter, Paul & Mary and Jackson Browne and makes them his own. Usually we're fans of Logitech's gaming mice, but its highest-end G9 Laser Mouse is expensive, overly complex, and lacks the ergonomic thought we've come to expect. If you like to brag about dot-per-inch limits, perhaps the G9's 3,200dpi laser will be enough to sell you, but for the price, we expect the design to match.

While compact and convenient, Panasonic's SD-based SDR-S150 camcorder doesn't make the quality cut.
