Editorial Product Review: :What are we here for? God created us to Glorify him. So in word, thought, and deed Lecrae's mission is to do simply that. Understanding that Christians live as regenerate (born again) people in an unregenerate (not born again) world, he knows the odds are against him. With no ambitions of being the next big thing or dreams of fame and wealth, Lecrae simply wants to point listeners in the direction of the Cross.

Editorial Product Review: : With an 'alright, this time it's for real' promise, Toby Mac turns the keys of the ignition and hits the gas on Portable Sounds, his third and most impressive solo effort to date. The musician-producer sounds more confident and comfortable than ever before, deftly mixing elements of rap, rock, pop, R&B, funk, and even a little reggae into a deliciously creative entrée. Some of the 'joints on this record' – as Toby Mac's boy TruDog calls them – fall more into one style or ...

Jesus Freak

Editorial Product Review: essential recording:Jesus Freak, like the 1970s phrase that it's culled from, is an oddity. Who could have ever imagined such a wonderful blend of grunge rock, rap, melodic pop, and funk? 'So Help Me God' sets the tone with a wicked guitar riff that draws boundaries for the trio's magic harmonies. 'What If I Stumble?' and the vastly underrated 'Between You and Me' allow Michael Tait to showcase his silky smooth vocals, while 'Jesus Freak' and 'Mind's Eye' prove the band can change speeds ...

Supernatural

by: dc Talk

Editorial Product Review: essential recording:How did DC Talk follow up their epic Jesus Freak? Very carefully, if Supernatural is any indication. Where Jesus Freak broke through musical barriers in a genre known for playing it safe, Supernatural builds on the band's momentum with a familiar blend of power pop, beautiful ballads, and power-chord rockers. The opening 'It's Killing Me' lays down a riveting foundation, while Toby McKeehan has never sounded more like Seal than on the soft ballads 'Consume Me' and 'Godsend.' But McKeehan (who coproduces) also ...

Usually we're fans of Logitech's gaming mice, but its highest-end G9 Laser Mouse is expensive, overly complex, and lacks the ergonomic thought we've come to expect. If you like to brag about dot-per-inch limits, perhaps the G9's 3,200dpi laser will be enough to sell you, but for the price, we expect the design to match.

While compact and convenient, Panasonic's SD-based SDR-S150 camcorder doesn't make the quality cut.
